- Assist in the development of Operations, Compliance and Performance Audit strategy for the Industry Department
- Conduct advanced evidence based audit analysis using relevant methodologies
- Responsible for Audit plan preparation based on approved methodologies
- Responsible for Audit execution including segment understanding, risk identification, sampling, audit program preparation
- Writing and submitting audit reports
- Assist in the development and revision of audit methodologies, procedures, and policies
- Lead multiple projects or audits simultaneously and provide understanding of complex business processes
- Plan and oversee the auditing process, assess auditees' controls and procedures
- Prepare comprehensive audit programs for audit assignments
- Manage a team of professionals; develop and motivate staff

- Must have experience in auditing banking operations
- Ability to prepare audit plans and execute audits
- Experience in leading multiple projects or audits simultaneously
- Knowledge of audit methodologies and international best practices

Overall Purpose
- To prepare the audit plan, management and execution of audit engagements in the Industry Department, and support the development of strategies and operational plans for the Industry Department.
- Must have experience in auditing banking operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the development of Operations, Compliance and Performance Audit strategy for the Industry Department, and continuously monitor its effectiveness
- Conduct advanced evidence based audit analysis using complex, but relevant methodologies and approaches to derive insights, improvement measures, and recommendations
- Responsible for Audit plan preparation based on the approved methodologies
- Responsible for Audit execution (segment understanding, risk identification, sampling, audit program preparation) and as per the audit methodologies
- Writing and submitting audit reports
- Assist in the development and revision of the overall Operations, Compliance & Performance audit methodologies, procedures, stated policies, processes, and any applicable laws or legislations
- Review relevant audit reports and record their accuracy and reliability
- Lead multiple projects or audits simultaneously and provide understanding of complex business processes
- Plan and oversee the auditing process. Assess Auditees' adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency with respect to the established controls and procedures
- Prepare comprehensive audit programs for the audit assignments
- Participate in meetings with senior members to discuss and clarify requests for projects, highlight issues, present findings, and make recommendations
- Resolve audit issues and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for analysis
