The Role
Lead audit readiness, compliance monitoring, internal control assessments, regulatory reviews, remediation programs, and governance activities.
Identify compliance gaps, strengthen controls, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Audit and Compliance Responsibilities
- Develop audit compliance strategies and annual audit and compliance plans based on business risks and regulatory priorities.
- Manage internal and external audit preparation, coordination, responses, and follow-up activities.
- Conduct compliance assessments, control reviews, process evaluations, risk-based audits, and thematic reviews.
- Evaluate internal-control design and operating effectiveness and identify control weaknesses and governance gaps.
- Monitor laws, regulations, standards, policies, contractual obligations, and internal requirements.
- Develop audit scopes, testing procedures, work programs, evidence requirements, and review methodologies.
Remediation and Reporting
- Review audit findings, determine root causes and risk levels, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Monitor remediation deadlines, escalate overdue or high-risk issues, and maintain issue, remediation, compliance, and control registers.
- Prepare dashboards and reports covering findings, remediation progress, compliance risks, control performance, and emerging issues.
