Role purpose
Perform international assurance and accounting advisory work with minimum supervision.
The role covers compilations, reviews, audits, and other examinations of financial statements.
The posting refers to both Associate and Assistant Manager levels.
Audit and assurance work
- Perform examinations under IFRS, Ind AS, and local country GAAP.
- Trace transactions from origin through recording to final disposition.
- Review receivables, provisions for loss, internal controls, and account classifications.
- Search for unrecorded liabilities and revenues and review subsequent entries.
- Reconcile intercompany payables and receivables and verify purchase and sales cutoffs.
- Test inventory records, valuation, obsolescence, depreciation, securities, and contingent liabilities.
Planning and reporting
- Set job time budgets and determine the extent and period of audit test checking.
- Prepare audit programs, budgets, charts of accounts, forms, and management letter comments.
- Draft reports, financial statement footnotes, and other disclosure information.
- Index working paper files and update client permanent files.
- Prepare routine client correspondence for approval and signature by senior personnel.
