Practice area
The position is an Associate role in the International Assurance practice area.
The work covers audit testing, financial reporting, internal controls, inventory, liabilities, disclosures and accounting systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform transaction tracing, accounts receivable review, inventory testing, liability searches, intercompany reconciliations and internal control reviews.
- Prepare charts of accounts, audit working papers, management letter comments, reports, footnotes, audit programs and budgets.
- Review inventory valuation, depreciation, securities, cutoffs, contingent liabilities, subsequent entries and financial statement disclosures.
- Update permanent files, design forms, install accounting systems, and supervise and train assistants.
- Prepare routine client correspondence for partner, manager or assistant manager approval.
Qualifications and experience
- CA, ACCA or MBA qualification.
- One to three years of experience.
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
