Role Overview
The Digital Media Operations team supports parliamentary communications through the Parliamentary Television Network.
The team delivers live broadcasts of House of Commons Chamber sittings and committee meetings, streams proceedings to parliamentary websites, collaborates with CPAC, and produces parliamentary proceedings and events.
The technician contributes to multimedia services for parliamentary proceedings and events under the guidance of a Television Director or Team Lead.

Position Overview
The Digital Media Operations team supports parliamentary communications through the Parliamentary Television Network.
The team delivers live broadcasts of House of Commons Chamber sittings and committee meetings, streams proceedings to parliamentary websites, collaborates with CPAC, and produces parliamentary proceedings and events.
The technician contributes to multimedia services for parliamentary proceedings and events under the guidance of a Television Director or Team Lead.
Workplace and Schedule
- The position requires on-site presence five days per week.
- Shift work and weekend work may be required.
- Overtime on short notice and operational standby may be required based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, operate, and troubleshoot teleconferencing, videoconferencing, audio-visual, and broadcast systems.
- Coordinate with parliamentary clients, technical teams, and external partners to support proceedings, meetings, and special events.
- Coordinate audio, video, graphics, and camera operations during live broadcasts.
