Assistant Front Office Manager

supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and compliance with brand standards.

This role plays a key part in guest satisfaction, team supervision, and smooth coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily Front Office operations including Reception, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Bell Desk
  • Ensure a seamless guest arrival and departure experience
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front office team members
  • Support scheduling, duty rosters, and attendance management
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and rate integrity
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B teams
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and UAE hospitality regulations
  • Assist in revenue optimization through upselling and cross-selling initiatives
  • Prepare reports related to guest satisfaction, occupancy, and operational performance
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of Front Office experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Prior experience as Assistant Front Office Manager / Front Office Supervisor preferred
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
  • Good leadership and team management ability
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera or similar preferred)
  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Well-groomed, professional, and guest-oriented personality
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • UAE experience preferred
