Job Purpose
Support repair quality and workshop operational performance through effective quality control procedures.
Minimize repeat repairs, improve Fixed Right First Time performance and support technicians in meeting dealership and manufacturer standards.
Contribute to customer satisfaction, workshop productivity and compliance with after-sales operating standards.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Perform static and dynamic inspections to validate repair quality.
- Track Fixed Right First Time performance and minimize repeat repair cases.
- Conduct test drives, including drivability assessments and comeback evaluations.
- Review repair orders for accurate diagnosis, clear job descriptions and proper documentation.
- Return incomplete or incorrect jobs to technicians with feedback and root cause explanations.
- Maintain quality control logs and prepare non-FRFT case analysis reports.
- Provide technical guidance and diagnostic support to technicians.
- Assist with allocating jobs based on technician skill level and workload.
- Track service campaign completion, warranty compliance and dealership operating standards.
- Ensure compliance with after-sales standards and warranty procedures.
- Report technical issues and workshop concerns to management for timely escalation and resolution.
