Role Overview
The Technical Writer is responsible for supporting Design Validation, Testing, and Technical Documentation activities for digital agriculture solutions at the Bangalore location.
In this role, you will support GEA Farm Technologies GmbH by creating, maintaining, and improving high-quality technical documentation while working closely with engineering, R&D, and service teams.
The position contributes to innovative product development projects and supports the advancement of digitalization by ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant with applicable standards, and user-friendly for service and maintenance personnel.

About the Role
The Technical Writer is responsible for supporting Design Validation, Testing, and Technical Documentation activities for digital agriculture solutions at the Bangalore location.
In this role, you will support GEA Farm Technologies GmbH by creating, maintaining, and improving high-quality technical documentation while working closely with engineering, R&D, and service teams.
The position contributes to innovative product development projects and supports the advancement of digitalization by ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant with applicable standards, and user-friendly for service and maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Develop, publish, and maintain technical documentation such as assembly manuals, operating guides, maintenance manuals, and technical information.
- Gather and structure technical information from R&D and Technical Service teams while ensuring alignment with editorial guidelines, legal requirements, standards, and internal documentation frameworks.
- Prepare clear and audience-focused technical content tailored for service technicians, maintenance teams, and end users.
- Optimize manuals and documentation to improve usability, clarity, and efficiency for operational and maintenance activities.
