Role Impact
The Associate Technical Program Manager II manages high-mix, low-volume projects from customer requirements through final delivery.
The role bridges U.S.-based customers and manufacturing partners to support specifications, budget, production execution, and process improvement.
Areas of Responsibility
- Manage projects against scope, budget, timeline, and delivery standards.
- Mitigate risks and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
- Schedule and oversee manufacturing work order assignments across the partner network.
- Resolve technical production questions and support manufacturing of assigned parts.
- Evaluate and implement post-sale change requests while mitigating risks.
- Drive tactical and strategic improvements to the technical project management workflow.
- Communicate proactively to identify problems, create solutions, and improve efficiency.
Desired Traits and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on CNC machining knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, injection molding, or sheet metal fabrication is sought.
- Strong project management skills in scoping, timing, quality control, testing, and logistics.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align communications through completion.
- Independent, detail-oriented, documentation-focused, and data-driven working style.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in ambiguous processes and tight deadlines.
- Strong English communication skills; multicultural work experience is preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
