The Associate Technical Program Manager II manages high-mix, low-volume projects from customer requirements through final delivery.
The role bridges U.S.-based customers and manufacturing partners to support specification, budget, schedule, and production execution.
Areas of responsibility
- Manage projects across scope, budget, timeline, and execution standards.
- Mitigate risks and coordinate internal and external stakeholders for on-time delivery to design specifications.
- Schedule and oversee manufacturing work order distribution across the partner network.
- Answer technical manufacturing questions and help partners build assigned parts and products.
- Evaluate and implement post-sale change requests while mitigating associated risks.
- Drive tactical and strategic improvements to technical project management workflows.
- Communicate proactively to identify problems, create solutions, and improve efficiency.
Desired qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining is required; knowledge of other manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills in scoping, timing, quality control, testing, and logistics.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align expectations through project completion.
- Independent, detail-oriented, documentation-focused, and data-driven working style.
- Strong problem-solving ability and results orientation in ambiguous, tight-deadline processes.
- Strong English communication skills and openness to working night shifts.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
