What’s in it?
As an Associate Technical Director, you will work closely with the Technical Directors and other key stakeholders to oversee the technical development of our games. This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring the technical quality of our products, and collaborating with other departments to achieve our game development goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Technical Director in defining the technical vision and strategy for game development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization.
- Oversee the technical aspects of game development projects from conception to release.
- Work closely with designers, artists, and product managers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with creative vision.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the development team and across departments.
- Lead by example by contributing to the codebase and participating in code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our games remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Drive the adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning and improvement within the development team.
