Associate Sales Representative (AV/IT Solutions)

This position will closely partner with one of our Senior Account Executives.

The Associate Sales Representative supports revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and assisting in the early-to-mid stages of the sales cycle.

This role focuses on consultative, solution-based selling of Audio-Visual, Physical Security and IT solutions across multiple industries including commercial, education, nonprofit, and government.

• Prospect and qualify new customers through outbound calls, emails, networking, and research.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, goals, and challenges.
• Support sales meetings, demonstrations, and site walks with senior sales and technical teams.
• Learn and position AV and IT solutions such as collaboration tools, conferencing, displays, networking, and managed services.
• Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records in the CRM system.
• Build relationships with customers and internal teams to support a positive sales experience.

• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Resilience, coachability, and comfort with outbound prospecting.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Interest in technology, AV systems, or IT solutions strongly preferred.

• Office work environment with some travel to customer sites.
• Standard business hours with flexibility based on customer needs. Some off-hours work is expected for special events and customer communications.

This role offers potential for long term advancement into Sales Representative or Account Executive positions through training.
