Role Overview
The Associate Product Manager manages product strategy, development, and lifecycle activities across international markets.
The role combines market insight, technical understanding, and business judgment to drive product innovation and growth.
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and execute global product strategy aligned with company goals.
- Develop product roadmaps using market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
- Identify product opportunities and lead go-to-market strategies.
Market and Customer Insights
- Conduct global market research and competitive analysis.
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements through engagement and feedback loops.
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction across regions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with project management, engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
- Partner with regional sales teams on product positioning and messaging.
- Represent customer and market needs within the organization.
Product Lifecycle and Metrics
- Oversee products from ideation through end-of-life.
- Manage launches, updates, and phase-outs with global teams.
- Ensure compliance with regional regulations and standards.
- Define and track KPIs and analyze product data for continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- At least two years of experience in the datacom market.
- At least one to two years of sales experience calling on datacom accounts.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing without direct authority, and driving complex projects with minimal oversight.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with contract manufacturers and electronics-market OEMs.
- Knowledge of high-speed backplane connectors and 112G and 224G connectivity.
- Knowledge of hyperscale, switch, and ODM market dynamics and vendor relationships.
- Hands-on SAP experience.
Compensation
- The anticipated base salary range is $110,000 to $130,000 per year.
- The role is eligible for variable pay, which may be issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
