Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Level Manufacturing Assembler to support our Operations Argon team at Smithfield, PA.
Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures.
Has substantial and thorough understanding of the job
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read, understand, engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
1 or more years of experience working with specialized tools (e.g., electrical and mechanical wire crimpers and strippers, wire routing tools, accessing computer files, multimeters)
Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, supplier data).
Ability to differentiate production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.
Participates in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology and processes to ensure that conformance and reproducibility requirements are met.

Summary pay range: $49,300 - $66,700 USD
