About the Role
Support implementation and operation of Amgen's information security strategy to protect data, systems, and networks.
Assist with network security technologies, risk management activities, security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Work with IT, infrastructure, application, and security teams to integrate security into technology solutions and operational processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DMARC, DNS, and VPN security tools.
- Review and implement security configurations according to enterprise standards.
- Support enterprise network security implementations and technical documentation.
- Evaluate security technologies and contribute recommendations under guidance.
- Develop technical expertise while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Network Security Engineering
- Create, modify, and remove security policies and objects in Fortinet UTM, WAF, DMARC, and Netskope ZTNA tools.
- Troubleshoot network security issues and administer the Enterprise Restricted Browser.
- Develop Python, Fortinet Security Fabric, and AI-assisted automation solutions.
