About the Role
EmiraTalent is hiring an Associate Interior Design Director for a leading hospitality design firm in Dubai. You will lead and oversee the design process from concept to completion for luxury hotels and resorts.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage design team in all stages of projects in collaborative leadership manner
- Lead and oversee multiple interior design projects, ensuring design excellence, quality, and timely delivery within budget
- Direct the design process from concept through documentation and implementation
- Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to convey ideas effectively
- Present design thoughts, intents and visuals to clients and operators
- Assist in securing new business opportunities by building strong relationships internally and externally
- Participate in project management meetings, business development initiatives, recruitment, and public relations activities
- Travel locally and internationally for client meetings and project presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design / architecture
- 15+ years of experience with minimum 10 years in luxury hospitality sector
- Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit
- Strong conceptualization and technical design ability
- Strong sense of design flair and love of art
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills

Overview
- Our clients who have a track record of 50+ years in designing hotels/various other assignments and completed 15,000 projects in over 80 countries globally are looking to hire an Associate Interior Design Director for their Dubai/GCC operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & manage your design team in all stages of projects in collaborative leadership manner.
- Lead and oversee multiple interior design projects, ensuring design excellence, quality, and timely delivery within budget.
- Direct the design process from concept through documentation and implementation, ensuring compliance with project objectives and brand standards as well as alignment with the client vision.
- Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to convey your ideas effectively.
- Present your design thoughts, intents and visuals to clients and operators.
- Assist in securing new business opportunities by building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Participate in project management meetings, business development initiatives, recruitment, and public relations activities.
- Local and international travel are required for client meetings and project presentations.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design / architecture
- 15+ years of experience with minimum 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality sector
- A portfolio of previous project experience in luxury hospitality and high end residential projects & references
- Software skills Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit
- Strong conceptualization and technical design ability
- Strong sense of design flair and love of art
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
