Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice on labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory requirements affecting the company s operations.
- Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international labor laws.
- Support management in resolving complex employee relations issues, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in labor and employment law and assess their impact on the company.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure legal risks are managed effectively across employee lifecycle processes.
- Represent the company in regulatory matters related to employment and liaise with governmental authorities as required.
- Conduct training and workshops for management and employees to raise awareness on regulatory compliance and employment best practices.
- Mentor junior legal staff and promote a culture of legal excellence within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in labor laws and employment regulations
- Strong background in legal compliance and contract drafting
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice
- Experience in resolving complex employee relations issues
- Ability to represent the company in regulatory matters
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
