The Associate Director will build and scale the UAE cybersecurity and technology risk advisory and delivery business.
This senior, market-facing role connects cybersecurity strategy, governance, controls, cloud and data security, privacy, resilience, and transformation.

Client Advisory and Delivery
- Advise senior executives, boards, regulators, and business leaders on cybersecurity, technology risk, digital resilience, and secure transformation.
- Lead engagements from scoping and proposal development through delivery, quality assurance, executive reporting, and follow-through.
- Define cyber strategies, operating models, governance structures, roadmaps, policies, and control environments.
Risk and Transformation Coverage
- Oversee assessments and transformations across security architecture, cloud and data security, IAM/PAM, network security, vulnerability management, monitoring, incident response, continuity, and third-party risk.
- Embed security, privacy, controls, and responsible AI into ERP, cloud, digital, data, and AI-enabled transformation programs.
UAE and Regional Practice
- Develop solutions for UAE clients under federal, emirate-level, free-zone, and sector-specific requirements.
- Create offerings, accelerators, methodologies, playbooks, and technology-enabled approaches for governance, compliance, privacy, resilience, and monitoring.
- Support innovation in AI risk and governance, cyber analytics, risk automation, and intelligent monitoring.
Business Development
- Build senior client relationships and support the UAE/GCC cybersecurity and technology risk sales pipeline.
- Originate opportunities, shape solutions, lead proposals and pitches, and develop thought leadership and executive content.
- Collaborate across Tech Consulting, GRC, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk, Sustainability, Data and Insights, and AI services.
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, recruit, and develop cybersecurity and technology risk teams across onshore and distributed delivery models.
- Set standards for delivery quality, commercial discipline, risk management, documentation, client experience, and responsible technology use.
Experience and Qualifications
- 12 or more years of relevant cybersecurity, technology risk, information security, IT risk, digital assurance, or cyber advisory experience.
- Experience leading engagements for large or regulated organizations and managing client relationships, delivery, and commercial outcomes.
- Experience with UAE or GCC clients is strongly preferred.
Technical and Leadership Requirements
- Strong experience across cyber governance, controls, cloud and data security, IAM/PAM, network security, vulnerability management, monitoring, incident response, resilience, privacy, or third-party risk.
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, PCI DSS, and applicable UAE or sector-specific requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required; master’s degree and professional certifications are desirable.
