Opportunity
RBC Capital Markets provides banking, finance, and capital markets services to corporations, institutional investors, asset managers, and governments.
The role supports Credit and Rates Derivatives trade management, reporting, and settlement systems using Murex.
The developer works with the FRTB and Murex reporting team to deliver data services between trading, risk, finance, and operations applications.
Development responsibilities
- Design and implement reports and data feeds for the Murex Rates and Credit platform using Datamart, MRB, and internal tools.
- Automate data extraction jobs using Control-M, processing scripts, and Unix scripting.
- Create and improve detailed technical design documents and participate in unit and integration testing.
Collaboration and risk control
- Work with business analysts, technical leads, vendor resources, and IT partners on the Murex Rates project.
- Identify operational risks and control deficiencies and escalate them to management and relevant risk and control functions.
- Review and comply with firm policies applicable to business activities.
