Role overview
Provide technical leadership while building enterprise software and agentic AI solutions at RBC.
Shape architectural decisions, improve engineering culture, and integrate LLM-based tools into production workflows.
Lead engineers while remaining hands-on across full-stack development, automation, testing, DevOps, and cloud-native systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead 1 to 2 engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on delivery.
- Build full-stack applications and agentic AI workflows with LLM-integrated automation.
- Design automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Build containerized microservices with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and cloud-native architectures.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers.
- Coordinate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams on business and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate emerging AI and agentic automation technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
Required qualifications
- At least 7 years of full-stack software development and/or automation engineering experience.
