Associate Director - Digital Infrastructure & DevOps Engineering

Role overview

Infrastructure and platform execution

• Lead implementation and operationalization of digital infrastructure and platform services across all Digital assets and environments.
• Translate enterprise cloud guidelines, architecture principles, cybersecurity requirements, and governance expectations into executable infrastructure plans.
• Ensure environments are production-ready, secure, resilient, scalable, observable, and aligned with delivery needs.
• Maintain consistency across development, SIT, UAT, staging, pre-production, production, and hotfix environments.

DevOps automation and reliability

• Drive Infrastructure as Code, automated provisioning, controlled deployments, auditable environment changes, and CI/CD integration.
• Own reliability, resilience, availability, disaster recovery, backup, failover, recovery, capacity, and operational health.
• Establish go-live readiness criteria covering monitoring, alerting, escalation, runbooks, support, backup, and recovery.
• Reduce infrastructure incidents, environment instability, deployment blockers, and operational risks.

Operations and cloud alignment

• Lead infrastructure operations across products, environments, vendors, and system integrators with clear ownership and accountability.
• Drive issue identification, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, documentation, runbooks, support models, and continuous improvement.
• Translate enterprise cloud direction into secure, compliant, scalable, and cost-efficient Digital execution.
• Implement approved cloud patterns, landing zones, network designs, security controls, access models, and operational standards.

FinOps and cost management

• Establish infrastructure cost visibility, optimization, and accountability across services, environments, vendors, and products.
• Drive cost optimization across compute, storage, networking, environments, observability, DevOps tooling, and vendor-managed services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience with cloud engineering, with Azure preferred.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Ability to collaborate with DevSecOps and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Strong infrastructure depth, DevOps execution experience, vendor governance, and operational ownership.
