AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Claims and Contracts to join their team in the UAE. - In depth knowledge and experience in contract and Claims commercial management of projects at both tender/procurement and post contract stages
- Prepare contracts, task orders, contract letters, notices and communications
- Negotiate contracts with clients, contractors and sub contractors
- Use large company project financial control systems
- Review invoices and contracts prior to issue
- Accurate cost reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management from recognized University
- Must be a Chartered QS (MRICS or MCIOB)
- Must have previous experience of FIDIC Contracts
- Minimum 15 years pre and/or post contract relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management
- Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 10 years
- Must have minimum of 4 years Middle East experience preferred
- Excellent written English for preparation of contracts, task orders, contract letters, notices and communications
- Good negotiation skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to review invoices and contracts prior to issue
- Accurate cost reporting skills

Overview
- AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Associate Director – Claims and Contracts to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.
Your role
- In depth knowledge and experience in contract and Claims commercial management of projects at both tender/ procurement and post contract stages.
- Middle East construction market experience in last 4 5 years preferable, with delivery experience in Saudi Arabia an added benefit.
- Good common law, contract, commercial and fiduciary understanding, minimum 15 years post qualification experience.
- Excellent written English for preparation of contracts, task orders, contract letters, notices and communications.
- Good negotiation skills to agree contracts with clients, contractors and sub contractors.
- Large company project financial control systems use and understanding.
- Large company internal governance procedures will be an added factor.
- Good attention to detail and ability to review invoices and contracts prior to issue.
- Accurate cost reporting skills.
About You
