Role Overview
The role supports account-opening onboarding for Galaxy entities at banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and custodians.
This position onboards Galaxy to external institutions rather than onboarding clients to Galaxy.
What You’ll Do
- Review requirements and applications for new account openings across banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and custodians.
- Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, regulatory, and internal onboarding policies.
- Coordinate with sales, legal, compliance, and operations to resolve missing documentation and information.
- Enter and maintain data in internal systems and monitor requests for timely processing.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain documentation and audit trails for account-opening activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of financial-services experience, preferably in account opening or KYC/AML.
- Strong knowledge of KYC regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, problem solving, and ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and proactive working style.
Bonus Points
- Ability to manage multiple projects and functions is a bonus.
- Experience, knowledge, or interest in cryptocurrency is a plus.
