Role overview
Parsons is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer for an entry-level position in Qatar.
The role supports the planning, construction, design, analysis, and delivery of engineering projects under experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine engineering and design assignments using established engineering principles and practices.
- Prepare or assist with calculations, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, surveys, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Support purchase requisitions, service requests, and subcontract documentation.
- Review supplier drawings, technical submittals, and bid evaluations with senior engineers.
- Prepare engineering specifications, data sheets, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with CAD/CADD designers and multidisciplinary teams on drawings and project deliverables.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and support technical interface resolution.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, field investigations, sampling, and data collection.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and comply with company, client, and engineering requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
