Purpose and Scope

Integration Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders across regions and external vendors on enterprise application integration solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, documentation, deployment, and the broader software development lifecycle.
• Define integration strategies connecting S/4HANA with Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, and on-premise applications.
• Develop SAP Cloud Integration flows using Groovy scripting, XSLT mapping, and reusable design patterns.
• Implement standard SAP Integration Suite content and lead migration from SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI to SAP BTP Cloud Integration.
• Configure SAP Cloud Connector and maintain secure connectivity between on-premise systems and SAP BTP services.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot incidents, monitor message processing, and manage error handling across environments.
• Review designs, enforce best practices, mentor junior team members, conduct testing, and document technical artifacts.

Professional Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on integration design and development experience, including at least 3 years of SAP Cloud Integration.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP BTP Integration Suite experience, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, and Open Connectors.
• Experience with end-to-end SAP and non-SAP integrations, EDI, TPM, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and error handling.
• Techno-functional SAP S/4HANA experience, integration protocols, testing tools, CI/CD, SAP Cloud ALM, and process improvement.

Technical Skills

• Required technologies include SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, Integration Advisor, Open Connectors, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Required development skills include Groovy scripting, XSLT mapping, adapter configuration, connectivity setup, and integration patterns.
• Required standards and security skills include XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, IDocs, OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
• Required architecture experience includes microservices, event-driven, and serverless integration patterns.
• The role also references SAP Application Interface Framework, Postman, CI/CD on BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and ServiceNow.

Communication

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required for collaboration with cross-functional teams and SI partners.
