Associate Analyst - Aeronautical Data

From pushback to landing, the Network Operations team is the eyes and ears on the ground no matter where in the world your United flight takes you.

Job overview and responsibilities

Aeronautical Data Analysis is a critical component in supporting the worldwide daily operation and future flight schedules and requires communication between internal and external agencies to ensure mission success.

The Data Analyst is an integral component of the Dispatch team and acts as the central point of contact for review, monitoring, and extraction of pertinent Aviation Aeronautical data for Dispatch related to Aeronautical Publications, Circulars, Supplements, NOTAMs and Aeronautical Flight Publications.

The Aeronautical Data Analysis is also responsible for the generation and provision of Aeronautical briefings and ensures Dispatch staff is fully apprised of the relevant aeronautical changes.

• Review, extraction, and processing of airport data and capabilities review
• Review, extraction, and processing of aeronautical data
• Review, extraction, and processing of aircraft data
• Database audit and maintenance
• Assistance to Staff Chiefs and Chiefs

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Any Engineering Sciences
• 0-2 years in aeronautical data management
• 2 years in data analytics or related course work
• In-dept knowledge and understanding of aeronautical data, airport and airspace systems to support worldwide operations, charter operations and dispatch operations
• Must be detailed oriented with expertise in effectively reviewing and extracting relevant aeronautical data and aviation information
