Industry Vertical Engineering builds specialized enterprise applications for high-tech, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and other sectors.
The team develops AI-native applications that interpret intent, reason over context, invoke tools, and act within specialized workflows and data models.
About the Role
The Associate Applications Development Engineer completes well-scoped tasks under close guidance from senior engineers.
The role contributes production software across user interfaces, backend services, APIs, testing, and AI-assisted engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Complete guided bug fixes, simple feature enhancements, and tests across frontend and backend layers.
- Contribute to agentic workflows and conversational experiences under senior engineer direction.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
- Use AI coding assistants under supervision while evaluating generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines, participate in deployments, and learn how code operates in production.
- Communicate blockers and progress clearly in sprint ceremonies and check-ins.
