Job Summary
As an Assisted Living RN at Mary Agnes Manor, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. Located on the beautiful and historic D'Youville Campus in Buffalo, NY, we offer a wide range of services and programs designed to support our residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to assisted living residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and monitoring health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
- Conduct routine health assessments and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and effective patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to improve patient care and outcomes
- Assisted Living RN duties may also include leading and mentoring staff, developing policies and procedures, and participating in local and national industry conferences and meetings
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must be available Nights, Weekends and Overnights
