Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks relevant to finance and treasury operations.
- Apply IFRS 9 standards to financial instruments and treasury products.
- Support or lead hedge accounting processes and documentation.
- Contribute to regional finance transformation initiatives.
- Ensure accounting governance standards are met across relevant product areas.
- Liaise with audit, risk, and finance teams on control-related matters.
Expected Profile
- Qualified accountant or finance professional with a technical accounting background.
- Demonstrable practical experience with IFRS 9 and hedge accounting.
- Prior exposure to treasury products and their accounting treatment.
- Experience working within internal control or governance frameworks in a finance environment.
- Comfort operating at Assistant Vice President level with independent ownership of technical workstreams.
- Experience with or familiarity with finance transformation projects is advantageous.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
