Role Overview
Assistant Site Engineer role supporting steel fabrication and installation activities.
The position involves daily construction-site coordination and travel between project sites in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Engineer in supervising daily site activities.
- Coordinate with workers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and main contractors.
- Monitor steel fabrication and installation work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site measurements and assist with quantity verification.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and installation quality.
- Coordinate material requirements and deliveries to site.
- Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
- Attend site inspections and follow up on site progress and minor site issues.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in construction or steel works.
- Candidates with UAE site experience are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation.
- Ability to read structural and shop drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- A valid UAE driving license and own car are mandatory.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel between project sites in Dubai.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
