About the Role An opportunity exists for an Assistant Shuttle Bus Driver to join our Defence Transport Services team.

This position will initially operate on a flexible, on-call basis until November, approximately 15 hours per week across three days.

Shift times may vary depending on operational requirements, making flexibility and availability key to success in the role.

F rom N ovember, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to step into a period of full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm) for approximately 6–8 months, providing support during a maternity leave period.

The role combines driving duties with hands-on fleet support activities, working closely with the existing transport team to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable service.

• Assist with the transportation of Defence personnel to appointments and designated locations (from November)
• Support daily transport operations and vehicle movements
• Drive Defence fleet vehicles as required
• Prepare vehicles for use by maintaining presentation and cleanliness standards
• Transport vehicles to and from servicing, repairs, and maintenance appointments
