Position Summary

The Assistant Sales Manager supports hotel sales, marketing administration, reservations, guest requests, and service-quality standards.

The position is based at Aloft Abu Dhabi and is scheduled full time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by coordinating with Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, and other departments.
  • Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
  • Process guest complimentaries, Marriott Rewards redemptions, reservations, reservation changes, and cancellations.
  • Record and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns and enter rewards information into the appropriate software.
  • Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, and other general office duties for Sales and Marketing.
  • Assist management with employee training and motivation and monitor performance against quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required according to the source qualification fields.
