The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in leading the restaurant operation at King Street Townhouse in Manchester.
The role focuses on restaurant operations, team leadership, guest experience, operational control, and commercial performance.
This is a visible, floor-based, hands-on role across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
Operational leadership
- Support efficient restaurant operations across all daily services.
- Complete opening, service, closing, booking, staffing, and shift handover procedures.
- Monitor table progression, service flow, delivery, breaks, and communication across restaurant teams.
- Check equipment, tills, card machines, reservation systems, menus, wine lists, specials, and allergen information.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and escalate risks or recurring concerns.
