Role Overview
Support the Resident Engineer in supervising construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of 132 kV and above AIS/GIS substations.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedule commitments.
Site Responsibilities
- Supervise construction and installation activities for 132 kV and above AIS/GIS substations.
- Monitor installation of transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, isolators, protection and control panels, SCADA systems, and related equipment.
- Review contractor work against approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Support testing and commissioning and witness site acceptance tests.
- Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, and quality of work.
- Coordinate with contractors, client representatives, and project stakeholders on site issues.
- Verify HSE compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
- Review technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Identify technical, construction, and interface issues and support resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
