Role Overview
Parsons is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for electrical roads and infrastructure works in Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi.
The role assists the Resident Engineer with daily supervision and delivery in accordance with drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and HSE standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise electrical infrastructure works and associated items with the Resident Engineer.
- Act for the Resident Engineer when required and coordinate with engineers and the construction supervision team.
- Review shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, material submittals, and correspondence.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution with design engineers.
- Monitor contractor schedules, resources, progress measurement, and reporting.
- Direct inspectors and surveyors, maintain daily diaries, and ensure records are complete.
- Attend meetings with authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Implement site safety and HSE procedures.
- Maintain progress reports, as-built records, and handover documentation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical infrastructure design, site supervision, and construction management.
