Overview
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Assists in the implementation of therapeutic interventions and treatment plans designed by senior psychologists.
- Provides emotional support, psychoeducation, and counseling to patients or clients under the guidance and supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- Assists in research projects, data collection, and statistical analysis related to psychological studies or clinical trials.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Assists in the facilitation of group therapy sessions or support groups as part of the treatment plan.
- Contributes to community outreach programs, workshops, or seminars to promote mental health awareness and education.
- Stays updated with the latest research, therapies, and techniques in the field of psychology through continuous learning and training.
- Performs related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- To follow appropriate international guidelines, DOH regulations and Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.
