Overview
- The patient aide will work to support the nursing staff to provide for the everyday needs of the residents and their families.
Responsibilities
- Supports residents by providing housekeeping, laundry, food preparation, and errands.
- Assists residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assists nurses in manual handling and bathing of residents.
- Plays with children under supervision when appropriate.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
- Runs errands for nursing staff.
- Ensures rooms are stocked with supplies.
- Assists on external trips.
- Participates in social activities.
- Communicates clearly with coworkers and multidisciplinary team.
- Develops own skills and attends training.
- Adheres to OSH and infection control policies.
Requirements
