Assistant Project Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Identify client and stakeholder project needs and goals.
• Create detailed project plans and coordinate project implementation.
• Manage project team tasks, delegation, and schedules.
• Maintain project reports, documents, and documentation.
• Assist with project deliverables, including preparation and proofreading.
• Track and report project progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders about project details and deliverables.
• Analyze data and perform administrative tasks such as meetings, invoices, and estimates.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field from a recognized university.
• At least five years of project management experience in infrastructure and architectural projects.
• Infrastructure and engineering experience covering roads and highways, wet or dry utilities, transport engineering, and urban planning.
• Experience with project management software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong planning, organization, multitasking, and project coordination abilities.

Desired Skills

• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley software is desirable.
• Design experience is an advantage.
• Teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, and pressure-management skills are desirable.
