Responsibilities include maintaining an active research profile, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and contributing to the university through service, all of which are essential at the Tobin College of Business.
The candidate should be able to teach a wide range of business analytics courses, from introductory to advanced levels.
Our faculty engage in professional development, program development, assessment, and service to the University and broader community.
Candidates should be familiar with technology-supported learning pedagogy and be able to integrate technology, particularly AI, into teaching.
Furthermore, candidates should be able to use different teaching modalities, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid.
A DBA or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a closely related field is required for this position.
ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will be considered.
A successful applicant should be an effective, empathetic teacher at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and actively participate in different service-related activities.
All specialization areas in Business Analytics will be considered; however, particular attention will be given to candidates with expertise in data mining, artificial intelligence, analytical computing, statistics, and decision sciences.
Preference will be given to candidates who can support the growth of undergraduate and graduate programs.
