The Department of Pharmacy Practice at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications from qualified candidates to join the College at the rank of Assistant Professor for a non-tenure track appointment. The faculty member will develop a patient-centered, team-based, clinical pharmacy practice site. The faculty member will actively participate in the mission of the College and School of Pharmacy; provide appropriate service to the Department, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the profession of pharmacy. The Assistant Professor will report to the Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution or equivalent Residency and/or fellowship or equivalent experience in adult medicine subspecialty, required.
Prior experience in academic instruction, precepting, or clinical skills training, preferred.
Familiarity with active learning methodologies and competency-based assessments, preferred.
Experience with instructional technology and simulation-based learning, preferred.

This position is based in Albany, NY. The duties and responsibilities of this particular role require the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or interaction with our community, requiring all work to be performed full-time on-site. Standard work hours are from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Additional details pertaining to this position will be discussed during the interview process.
