Job Description
- Develop and deliver courses to students in specified discipline areas including lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, and Microbiology
- Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to improve and sustain student success
- Ability to teach a variety of specialized courses in Basic Medical Sciences, including conducting laboratory sessions and supervising student practicals
- Engage and conduct quality research, publish findings in peer reviewed journals, and supervise undergraduate research projects
- Support and engage in curriculum development, course management, and review of teaching strategies aligned with University and accreditation standards
- Contribute effectively to college and university initiatives by participating in departmental meetings, academic planning, and quality assurance processes
- Support and participate in accreditation initiatives at local and international levels through curriculum mapping and alignment
- Promote and guide students to envision their future careers by providing academic guidance, mentorship in academic and research activities
- Maintain relationships with students that are conducive to learning through a commitment to student centered learning
- Initiate and participate in effective community engagement activities, such as organizing academic events, workshops, and seminars
