Assistant Professor/Director

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

• Ability to work collegially and collaboratively as a member of a clinical training program team.
• Knowledge of trends and developments in behavioral health practice and graduate clinical training.
• Ability to support graduate clinical training and coordinate clinical supervision within a multidisciplinary behavioral health training environment
• Provision of clinical supervision and instruction when appropriate to the individual’s professional credentials and scope of practice.
• Knowledge of the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Interest in and willingness to develop expertise in rural and/or primary care settings, and integrated models of training.
• Knowledge of, and ability to learn, software and systems necessary to support clinic operations, including electronic health records (EHR)s, scheduling systems, BHWC website monitoring, and development/maintenance of BHWC promotional materials.

• At least a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible as an LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, or HSP psychologist in the State of Tennessee.

• At least two years’ experience practicing as a fully credentialed behavioral health professional.
• Previous clinic administration.
• Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in (Clinical/Counseling) Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• APA-accredited internship in clinical or counseling psychology.
