Assistant Manager - Purchase (Bought Out)

Key Accountabilities: List the key areas of responsibility

Spearhead procurement activities for mechanical packages across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.

Drive cost optimization and savings targets through strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and long-term procurement planning.

Oversee vendor development initiatives, building a robust supplier base and ensuring performance standards are consistently met.

Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and concerned teams to ensure seamless procurement execution and timely resolution of issues.

Establish procurement strategies for complex mechanical packages (pumps, blowers, rotary equipment, valves, HRSCC, DAF systems, etc.) and ensure adherence to budgets.

Monitor supplier performance, manage escalations, and ensure timely delivery of materials to Factory and project sites.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards in all procurement activities.

Oversee timely vendor payments in coordination with finance/accounts, maintaining healthy supplier relationships.
