Role Overview
Collins Aerospace is seeking a procurement professional to manage sourcing activities, support RFPs and supplier negotiations, perform cost analysis, and manage orders.
The role focuses on customer satisfaction, supplier performance, purchasing, contract compliance, and delivery resolution.
The position is classified as onsite.
Responsibilities
- Execute procurement processes and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis.
- Respond to client inquiries about order status, changes, and cancellations.
- Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services on favorable organizational terms.
- Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate prices.
- Compile price proposals, financial reports, and related pricing data.
- Prepare RFPs and bid packages for new accounts.
- Monitor contract performance for contractual compliance.
- Schedule or expedite supplier deliveries and resolve shortages and late deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- A BE or master’s degree is typically required, with 7–10 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience should be in supply chain or procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
