About the opportunity As an Assistant Manager, you will own the performance of operations - spanning the bicycle and EV fleet and tMart operations.
You will be expected to operate independently, drive compliance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve how the fleet runs.
Responsibilities
Own the operational strategy and performance of the fleet - optimizing the fleet mix across bicycles and EVs, and setting the roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, translating data into structured updates and clear recommendations for leadership.
Drive compliance at tMarts - visiting regularly, ensuring riders are showing up and following protocols, with consistent enforcement and a clear action plan for violators.
Identify and drive long-term solutions to recurring operational challenges.
Continuously refine and improve SOPs - leveraging automation and system enhancements to drive efficiency and reduce manual dependency.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Performance, 3PL, and Rider Lifecycle teams to resolve systemic issues and align on priorities.
Build a high-performing team, foster a culture of ownership and accountability, with clear communication, and alignment across city-level operations.
What you need to be successful Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Master’s preferred. 3-5 years of experience in operations, ideally in last-mile delivery, e-commerce, or mobility tech.
Proven experience managing on-ground teams and working across functions.
Skills and Competencies: Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Clear, structured communication across teams and seniority levels.
Strong ownership mindset — accountable for outcomes, not just outputs.
On-ground presence — comfortable in the field and confident making independent calls.
Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Beginner to intermediate proficiency with AI tools, including Claude.
