Assistant Manager, Logistics

Opportunity to play a key role in managing end-to-end logistics and transportation operations that directly impact customer satisfaction and business performance.

Exposure to domestic and international logistics, including freight forwarding, customs processes, import/export operations, and trade compliance activities.

Ownership of logistics performance management through KPI monitoring, cost optimization initiatives, and service provider governance.

Cross-functional collaboration with Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse, Operations, Sales, Procurement, and external logistics partners.

Opportunity to drive logistics digitalization, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global supply chain environment.

Experience working with ERP/SAP systems, transportation management processes, and logistics analytics to support operational decision-making

Proven experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, warehousing, and supply chain operations.

Strong understanding of dispatch planning, freight management, shipment documentation, and logistics execution processes.

Experience working with transporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.

Working knowledge of import/export operations, Customs regulations, DGFT requirements, Incoterms, and trade compliance practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Experience monitoring logistics KPIs, freight costs, transportation performance, and service provider effectiveness.

Proficiency with SAP ERP systems (SD/MM preferred), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and logistics reporting tools.

Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and manage priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
