Change and Release Control
- Review, assess, and validate change and release requests for risks, conflicts, dependencies, and business impact.
- Facilitate and govern CAB and ECAB meetings with clear accountability and approval outcomes.
- Own the change and release calendar, including release windows, blackout periods, and business-critical events.
- Plan and govern software and infrastructure releases across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Ensure testing evidence, rollback plans, risk assessments, security approvals, and business sign-off are complete before production deployment.
- Maintain auditable change and release documentation, including approvals, release notes, implementation steps, rollback procedures, and post-release outcomes.
- Monitor change and release KPIs and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews and track lessons learned and corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits related to IT Change and Release Management.
- Coordinate with IT operations, development, business, cybersecurity, QA, and third-party vendors.
- Communicate change and release status, risks, dependencies, and impact assessments to stakeholders.
- Enforce Change and Release Management policies, standards, governance frameworks, and ITIL-aligned controls.
IT Demand Management
- Oversee and coordinate the IT demand management process.
- Work with business relationship, service portfolio, service level, and other stakeholders to understand current and future demand for IT services.
- Plan and implement strategies to manage and influence demand.
- Identify and resolve issues or risks that may affect service delivery.
- Align IT strategy with business strategy and long-term planning goals.
- Delegate authority to teams and communicate process updates.
