Job Purpose
Support the transfer of instrumentation clarity into automation for furnace instruments and signalling.
Help develop automation that supports operational excellence and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle instrumentation tasks for Continuous Galvanizing Line, Continuous Annealing Line, and Color Coating Line furnace and oven projects.
- Develop P&IDs with process engineers and team leaders.
- Prepare instrument lists and procurement specifications.
- Evaluate technical offers for instruments, valves, analyzers, cameras, pyrometers, and field instruments.
- Prepare I/O lists, motor and sensor lists, function descriptions, and interlock diagrams with electrical and automation teams.
- Identify instrumentation requirements with process and mechanical teams.
- Participate in FAT with automation teams and vendors.
- Communicate with customers and participate in technical discussions.
- Support erection and commissioning activities, including cold and hot trials.
