Job Purpose
Plan and deliver processing-line furnace layouts for continuous galvanizing, continuous annealing, and continuous color-coating lines.
The role supports operational excellence, organizational growth, and targets for quality, delivery, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop furnace layouts integrating equipment, systems, bought-outs, building dimensions, and column locations.
- Place equipment, access areas, rooms, utilities, crane movements, storage, and systems across required levels.
- Define strip pass lines and integrate furnace general arrangements into overall line layouts.
- Discuss layouts with customers, update requirements, and coordinate with structural design houses.
- Prepare civil assignments, outline drawings, foundation load data, and engineering documents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, support technical discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
