- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, promotions, transfers, and offboarding, while ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law and company HR policies.
- Support workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning to identify and nurture high potential talent and coordinate annual performance management processes.
- Partner with department heads to enhance talent development, career progression, and leadership initiatives, and manage employee engagement to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Handle compensation and benefits administration, salary reviews, HR budgeting, and employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, maintain HR policies and documentation, prepare HR reports and analytics, and assist in implementing HR systems and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Generalist or Assistant HR Manager capacity
- Mandatory experience within the Shipping, Maritime, Shipping Line, Port Operations, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry
- Strong experience managing the full spectrum of HR operations
- Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant HR Manager to support and oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources operations for a leading organization within the shipping and maritime industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, talent management, employee lifecycle management, and strategic HR initiatives, with prior experience working in a shipping, maritime, or logistics environment.
- This role requires a hands on HR professional who can effectively partner with business leaders while ensuring HR processes, policies, and compliance standards are consistently maintained.
